Leila works at the intersection of art, design, architecture, and industry to advance cultural initiatives led by university, museum, and private sector clients. From 2010-2012, she was the assistant project director on the Getty initiative, Pacific Standard Time: Art in L.A. 1945-1980. Subsequently, she was director of program development at UCLA Architecture and Urban Design where she launched their satellite IDEAS campus, robotics lab, post-professional masters program, and spearheaded collaborations with Boeing, Toyota, and Hyperloop Transportation Technologies. Most recently, Leila has worked with the award-winning architecture firm Johnston Marklee, and consulted on fundraising and other strategic efforts for the MBAD African Bead Museum in Detroit.

Leila strives to partner with big thinkers across disciplines to imagine a more generous future, and to create projects that advance critical discourse while promoting greater audience access.
